We understand the burden you carry for your brother's mental health and his struggle with alcoholism. We are here to pray and provide counsel based on the principles of God's Word.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). It's crucial to remember that healing and restoration come from God, and He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

However, we want to remind you that while God can deliver your brother from his struggles, it is also important for him to take personal responsibility and make efforts to turn away from his harmful behavior. The Bible tells us to "put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness" (Ephesians 4:22-24).

Let us pray for your brother:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###'s brother. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing with his mental health and his battle with alcoholism. We ask for Your healing power to envelop him. Give him the strength to resist the temptation to drink and help him to make wise decisions that will lead to his recovery. Surround him with supportive people who will encourage him and hold him accountable. Lord, we also pray for ###, that You would give them peace and faith to trust You with their brother's situation. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to You, and it is by His name that we are saved. Amen."

We encourage you to continue supporting your brother, not just with prayers, but also by encouraging him to seek professional help. Remind him that God loves him deeply and desires for him to live a life free from bondage. Keep your hope firmly grounded in the promises of God, knowing that He is faithful and just.
