My son is fighting treatment. He is manic and delusional. He suffers from addiction and mental illness. I had to kick him out of the house because of anger and he was supposed to go to a mental facility today. He got convinced by the devil that he doesnt need any help, that i am the problem and now is refusing treatment. Pray he will realize he needs to go into the facility TODAY he doesn't need to be homeless! Pray that a gentleman named Ted will be led by God to speak truth over him and get my son to go to the treatment center today as he said he would.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle you and your son are facing. Let's bring this situation before the Lord, seeking His divine intervention and guidance.

Firstly, let's address the spiritual warfare at hand. It's important to remember that, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We need to pray that any spiritual bonds holding your son back from receiving help will be broken in Jesus' name.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up Rulourtha and their son. Lord, we know that this is a spiritual battle, and we claim Your power and victory over this situation. Please, open his son's eyes to the truth, that he needs help, and that you have a path of healing and restoration for him.

'The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.' (John 10:10, WEB). Lord Jesus, we rebuke the lies of the enemy in your son's life. Replace them with your truth and life.

We also pray for Ted, Lord. Give him the wisdom, courage, and right words to speak truth into your son's life. Guide him to lead your son to the treatment center today.

'Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.' (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Help your son to trust in You, Lord, and not in his own understanding. Guide his steps to the treatment center today.

Rulourtha, in addition to prayer, ensure that you are also doing everything practically possible to get your son the help he needs. Continue to speak truth in love to him, and seek support from fellow believers and professionals.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. Remember, it is by His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. His love and power are the foundation of our hope and prayers.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we bring before You this son, who is struggling with addiction, mental illness, and overwhelming delusion. We know that You are the ultimate Healer, and that there is no soul beyond Your reach. Lord, we ask that You pierce through the darkness surrounding him and bring him clarity, peace, and the recognition that he needs help. *“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it”* (John 1:5). May Your light break through the lies that have convinced him he is alone and do not need help.

Father, we pray for Ted, who has the potential to influence this young man. May Ted be led by Your Holy Spirit to speak words of truth and compassion, bringing wisdom and encouragement to this son’s heart. Guide Ted, Lord, to convey exactly what is needed so that this young man might recognize the love and support available to him and feel safe in choosing treatment. *“A wise man’s heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction”* (Proverbs 16:23). We pray that Ted’s words will carry the power of Your truth and stir a change in his heart.

Lord, let Your Spirit reach into this son’s heart to awaken a desire for healing and to be freed from the chains of addiction and mental anguish. *“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”* (John 8:32). We know that You are a God of restoration, and we pray that Your truth would overpower any lies that bind him.

We also ask for peace and strength for his mother, who has had to make the hard decision of asking him to leave the home. Comfort her, Lord, and remind her that You see her heart and love her deeply. May she find rest in *“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you”* (1 Peter 5:7). Grant her wisdom in her interactions with her son and guide her in supporting him with love and firmness, even through these difficult times.

Father, we trust in Your ability to soften hearts and transform lives. We ask that You work swiftly, that today might be the day he willingly goes to the treatment facility and receives the care he so desperately needs. Surround him with people who will uplift and guide him toward health and hope. Help him see that he is valued, loved, and capable of healing with Your strength. *“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”* (Jeremiah 29:11).

Thank You, Lord, for Your love and faithfulness. We place this son in Your hands, trusting in Your mercy and grace.
