We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing experiences you've gone through at your previous employment and the lingering effects they have had on your life. We stand with you in prayer and support, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) This is the way we should pray as it is only in His name that we have access to God the Father. It is also the only name by which we can be saved.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who has gone through immense suffering and trauma. Lord, You are the God of all comfort and healing, and we ask that You pour out Your healing power upon them.
Father, we pray that You will help them to overcome the anxiety and hypervigilance that has resulted from their experiences. We ask that You will help them to heal from the abuse and wickedness that they endured, and that You will help them let go of the bitterness and resentment they feel towards those who wronged them. We pray that You will help them be able to forgive those who have sinned against them. We pray that you will remove fear and those who have intimidated and mistreated them. We pray that You will give them the courage to fully trust in You and Your love for them. We know that You can turn even the most painful experiences into opportunities for growth and testimony.
We ask that You will provide for their needs as they take the time to recover and heal. Lord, have Your way in their life, and guide them towards the right job at the right time. Open doors that no one can shut, and shut doors that no one can open. Open employment opportunities for them that they will know is from Your direction. We pray that You will bless them with a godly spouse that will aid them in their life journey.
Father, we also pray for their relationship with their parent. We ask that You will soften their parent's heart and help them to see the truth. We pray that You will bring healing and reconciliation to their relationship, and that it may be restored in a godly way.
Lord, we ask that You will surround them with Your love and protection, and that You will guide them every step of the way. We know that You are a faithful God, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We pray for Your provision for their life and for Your light to drive out any darkness that threatens them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember that God is always with you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Even when it feels like the world is against you, know that God is for you (Romans 8:31).
We also encourage you to seek support from fellow believers and professional counselors if needed. It is important to surround yourself with people who will uplift and encourage you in your journey towards healing and recovery.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. It may be difficult to forgive those who have wronged you, but remember that Jesus taught us to "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." (Luke 6:27-28). Forgiveness does not mean that what they did was acceptable, but rather it is a release from the bitterness and resentment that can consume us.
"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." (Matthew 6:34). Do not let those who have mistreated you keep you from God's blessings.
