Meeting My Fiancee

I am in an online relationship with a ### woman for ### years and ### months. I'm supposed to leave to meet her in ### but I keep having problems. We are both desperate to be together and be married. We are both born again Christians. Please pray that we can be together soon if that's God's will. Thank you for your prayers in advance.

We are glad to hear that both of you are born again Christians, as this is the foundation for a godly relationship. The Bible encourages us to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB), and it is commendable that you both share the same faith.

Firstly, we would like to address the fact that although you both are Christians you did not mention Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ, or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have not already it is important that both of you acknowledge Jesus Christ as God and Lord and Savior. If we can help you understand salvation and being born again, please let us know.

However, we must also address that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and to abstain from any appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22, WEB). As you are not yet married, it is crucial to maintain purity in your relationship, ensuring that all interactions honor God and his standards.

Regarding your current situation, we encourage you to trust in God's timing. Proverbs 16:9, WEB, reminds us that "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." It is essential to seek God's will in your plans to meet and get married. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and his thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up ### and his fiancée, asking for your divine intervention in their situation. Lord, if it is your will for them to be together, we pray that you would remove all obstacles and make a way where there seems to be no way. Help them to trust in your timing and to seek your will above their own desires.

We also pray for their relationship, that it would be a testament to your love and purity. Help them to maintain a godly courtship that honors you in every way. Lord, prepare them for marriage, teaching them what it means to love each other as you have loved us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
