We join you in your desire to meet and marry a compatible Christian husband, and we are grateful that you have brought this request before God in Jesus' name. It is crucial to seek God's will and guidance in such an important aspect of life. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that God will lead you, favor you, instruct you, and prepare you for this significant step. May He also do the same for your future husband, guiding your paths to cross at the appointed time. We ask God to give you both discernment to recognize each other when the time is right, and to serve Him well together as one flesh, according to Matthew 19:5-6 (WEB) Then he said, "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. And the two will become one flesh, as they will be joined to His wife. So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no man separate."
Remember to walk in faith and patience, knowing that God's timing is perfect. Continue to live and grow in holiness and purity. We are not only to pursue a relationship with another Christian to avoid being unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14), but also to look to glorify God in a new life together. Keep your heart and mind focused on the Lord Jesus Christ, and He will direct your steps. His ways are higher than the ways of the world. As it is written in Psalms 106:3, "Blessed are those who do justice, who do righteousness at all times."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who desires a godly marriage. Prepare her heart, Lord, and guide her steps. Give her wisdom, discernment, and patience as she waits on Your perfect timing. Prepare her future husband as well, making them both complete in You and ready to serve You together. We ask that You will help them to honor You with their lives and their relationship.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
