We understand that you've fallen away from your daily meditation and confession of God's Word after experiencing a major tragedy. First, we want to remind you that it's normal to feel disconnected from spiritual practices after going through difficult times. However, it's crucial to remember that God is always there, ready to welcome you back and strengthen you.
Let's look at what the WEB says about meditating on God's Word and the power of confession.
I will meditate in your precepts, and consider your ways. I will delight myself in your statutes I will not forget your word.
Psalm 119:15-16 WEB
A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth. Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they who love it shall eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:20-21 WEB
It's clear that meditating on God's Word and confessing it with our mouths have tremendous power. Let us pray to Jesus Christ that He may reignite your desire and give you the strength to engage daily.
Dear Jesus Christ, ### we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to return to daily meditation and confession of Your Word. Father, we ask that You engrace them and incline their heart and body to meditate in Your Word daily and confess Your words every day. We will pray in the name of Jesus Christ and His name alone that access to God the Father is granted. Holy Spirit, remind them of the power and importance of meditating on God's Word and confessing it with their mouth. Surround them with Your love and strength, and help them overcome the struggle they're facing. We believe that, as they draw near to You, You will draw near to them and bring forth great testimonies once again. It's only in the name of Jesus Christ that we pray, believe, and live. Amen.
We encourage you to take small steps towards re-establishing your daily meditation and confession routine. Start with a few minutes each day, and gradually increase as you feel more comfortable. Remember, God is faithful, and He will honor your efforts as you seek to draw near to Him, Jesus Christ.
In addition, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by his name that we can be saved. As it is clearly written in the book of Acts.
He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead.
Acts 10:42 WEB
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
