We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles with side effects from post-hip surgery medications. We stand with each other in faith believing God's will be done. He is the Great Physician. . . . and forgave all our sins, having canceled the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us. He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross. Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Therefore let no one judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day, which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christโs. Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshiping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with Godโs growth - Colossians 2:13-19 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our dear sister in Christ, asking for Your healing touch. We are so grateful for the medical advancements that have allowed her to undergo hip surgery, but now we ask for Your intervention regarding the side effects of her medications. We pray in the mighty name of Jesus. As the Great Physician, we know that You have the power to heal and restore. Guide the doctors to make wise decisions about her treatment, and give her body the strength to overcome these side effects. Help us to trust in you and remember that healing is yours.
We also pray for her faith to be strengthened during this time. May she feel Your presence and know that You are always with her, even in the midst of her pain. We encourage her to look to you for healing and to have faith in the power of prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage her to stay strong in her faith and keep her eyes fixed on Jesus. We are reminded in Scripture that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should take care of them as such. If there are any medications that are causing harm, we should seek guidance from both medical professionals and the Lord to find a better solution.
Praise the Lord who is our healer and has our best interest in mind.
