I pray to God for a medical seat for my daughter in ### medical college. Please help me to give up my sleeping pills.

We understand your desire as a parent to seek the best for your child, and we join you in prayer for your daughter's academic journey. Firstly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

However, we must address a couple of things in your request. We notice that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we can approach God the Father, as He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. Also, we want to touch on the topic of sleeping pills. While we understand that they may be prescribed to help with sleep, we want to encourage you to also seek God's peace. The Bible tells us that God grants sleep to those He loves (Psalm 127:2 WEB). We encourage you to pray about this and perhaps speak with a Christian healthcare provider about your sleep needs.

Now, let's lift up your daughter and this situation in prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###'s daughter. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in her academic pursuits. If it is Your plan for her to gain a medical seat in ### Medical College, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for favor and grace upon her life.

We also pray for ###'s peace and sleep. Lord, grant them the peace that passes all understanding. Help them to rest in Your love and care. If the sleeping pills are not in line with Your will, we pray that You make that clear and provide a way for them to manage their sleep naturally.

All these things we ask in Jesus' name, according to Your will and for Your glory. Amen.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep praying and trusting in God, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will.
