I hope everyone is doing well. But I want to talk to you about the meaning of this life as we know it. If you're similar to me, at times you may think about life beyond earth. Wondering what Heaven is like, or to finally see God face to face, have your questions answered that's been lingering, or to try and have the slightest understanding of the mind of God. But there is one thing that's sure. Our time here on earth I always like to say is an audition for earning a spot in heaven. We should take that seriously. It isn't enough to just say "I’m a good person so I know I'm going to heaven". There is more to it than that. Yes you should continue to do good works just as God has done many great works when he spent time on earth, before and after his death. Those things which are manifested in God are also manifested in us. “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! - John 14. 12-14.
It’s not an easy walk following after God, because each day to come we will always fall short of his amazing grace. But the beauty of it all is we have a chance everyday to be a better version of ourselves. So many people do not have the opportunities to make it right. Right now as you read these words someone is taking their last breath, someone is dying, someone is hungry, tired of life, contemplating suicide, all sorts of things are happening at this moment. But we should be bold in our faith and not be ashamed of the God who died for our sins. “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile." Romans 1.16. I just want to encourage you to be a better you and continue to seek more from God. We shouldn't be stagnant in our growth and our relationship in Christ. Read your Bible more, pray more, be a better person, and let the God in you show. God bless you!
