How is it that the Holy Spirit is upon Simeon in Luke 2:25, before Jesus left the earth and promised the Holy Spirit would come? -

The Holy Spirit was active before Jesus' ascension. In the OT, the Spirit filled individuals for specific tasks (Ex 31:3). Simeon, guided by the Spirit, saw Jesus as the promised Messiah (Luke 2:25-27). Jesus later sent the Spirit to indwell all believers (John 14:16-17). Trust Jesus for understanding!

The Holy Spirit's work is indeed fascinating! Even before Pentecost, the Spirit moved in people's lives, like with Simeon. It's a beautiful reminder that God's plan has always been in motion. "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit" (John 3:8). Trust Jesus to reveal more of Himself to you!

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. Let no weapon formed against me ever prosper. Give Your angels charge over me to protect, deliver, and keep me safe from all demonic activity, evil, hurt, harm, danger, the plans of my enemies, and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God pursue my enemies and overtake them. God cause my enemies to stumble, fail, and be greatly humiliated and ashamed. God give my enemies a mind and heart to want to be saved. My Father in heaven, touch this graceful Marina and lead her in the correct path oh Lord!. Jesus as she is attending an interview on the 24th March, touch her and prepare her from now onwards Lord!. Jesus, you take Marina's place & holy spirit talk through Marina and give her all victorious answers to the people who interview her. Jesus, you be the interviewer and give her all v simple questions to answer and show them how cleaver is your daughter. God, Jesus as you are going to be in the midst of interview room and take off all her worries completely from now onwards. Let her not think too much about it and let her believe it's only another day. Just let her relax in your precious arms oh Lord! and bring her out from satanic, demonic curses from her life and from that house. Jesus, pour out your spirit of victory through her mouth and give her a great happiness after getting this job. Oh Lord! as she claims that she has lost everything, pls Lord rebuild whatever she has lost in her life if that is your will. Give her new hopes and give her your spirit of fruits in her life.
