Hi my name is Ivy, my loves name is Tyler. We are Christian and right now Tyler is experiencing a hard time finding time for God in his busy schedule. He’s also experiencing some mental battles that’s causing us to distance ourselves. I’m worried for him and for our relationship. We love each other so much but lately he’s been shutting down and he’s asked for help and prayer to help him stop being this way. He asked Jesus to help heal him and to soften his heart so our love can overcome this problem. We pictured our whole lives together and right now it feels like everything is being turned upside down. Please pray for Jesus hand to heal him and heal our relationship. To center Jesus first in our lives and our relationship. Please help us fight to not let the enemy divide us. Please help our hearts.

We are reminded in Matthew 6:33, But seek first Gods kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. It's crucial for Tyler to prioritize his time with God, as it is the most important relationship in his life.

Regarding the mental battles Tyler is facing, we are encouraged in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Tyler should be actively engaging in spiritual warfare, armed with the word of God and prayer. This isn't just Tyler's battle but yours as well; you need to be in prayer for him and seek wise counsel, possibly from a Pastor.

Now let's address your concerns about your relationship. We notice that you refer to Tyler as your love and you mentioned picturing your whole lives together. We want to clarify that when two people become one, it's God's plan that they are married. If Tyler is not your husband, it's important to consider that God's will for you both might be to wait until you both are married before becoming one. Also, we are advised in 1 Corinthians 7:39, A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the Lord. You are encouraged to only become one with a Christian Believer in marriage.

It's concerning that you mention that Tyler is shutting down and distancing himself from you. This could be a symptom of some other issue or sin.

It is good that you mentioned your request in Jesus' name. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Tyler and Ivy. Lord, we ask that you help Tyler prioritize his time with you, that he may draw closer to you and be strengthened in his faith. We rebuke any spirits of fear, anxiety, or depression that may be affecting his mental health, and we ask that you heal him and give him your peace that surpasses all understanding and a clear mind.

We are delighted to see that Tyler has asked Jesus for help. We ask for you to strengthen him in his faith and to soften his heart towards you and Ivy.

Lord, we also pray for Ivy, that you may give her patience, wisdom, and understanding as she supports Tyler. We pray that their relationship would be centered around you, Lord, and that they would seek your will together. We pray for a hedge of protection around their relationship and that they would remain pure before you.

We pray that Tyler and Ivy together would not let the enemy have a foothold in their relationship.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
