Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up James and James' parents as they prepare for their journey next week. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 121:8, "The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." We ask for Your divine protection over their travels, that You would guide their steps and keep them safe from any harm.
Lord, we pray that You would surround their vehicle with Your angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11, "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." May their journey be smooth and without incident, and may they arrive at their destination safely and in good spirits.
We also ask for Your peace to fill their hearts, as Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Grant them calm and confidence, knowing that You are with them every step of the way.
Lord, we trust in Your faithful promises and commit James and James' parents into Your loving care. May this journey be a time of joy, bonding, and new experiences, all under Your watchful eye.
