Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up James and the parents as they prepare to travel next week. Your Word says in Psalm 121:8, "The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." We ask that You place a hedge of protection around them, guiding their journey and keeping them safe from any harm.
Lord, we pray that You grant them traveling mercies, that their trip may be smooth and free from any unforeseen difficulties. May Your angels encamp around them, as You promised in Psalm 91:11, "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
We also ask for Your peace to fill their hearts, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. Let them feel Your presence and assurance, as it is written in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
