We understand your desire for you and your husband to grow in God and know Him more intimately. This is a wonderful aspiration, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel.
Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. In Colossians 1:9-10 (WEB), it is written, "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God."
We pray, dear Heavenly Father, that You would grant this couple a deeper understanding of Your will and wisdom. May they grow in the knowledge of You, Lord, and walk in a manner that pleases You. Help them to bear fruit in every good work, and to increase in their knowledge of You. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We encourage you both to spend time daily in the Word of God and in prayer. As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
If there are any areas in your lives that do not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to repent and turn to God. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB).
We are here for you, supporting you in your journey to know God more. Keep seeking Him, and He will reveal Himself to you (Jeremiah 29:13 WEB).
