We understand that you are seeking prayer for the relationship between MB and AR as they spend time together and bond. While it's wonderful to see people connecting and forming meaningful relationships, we want to ensure that this bond is guided by biblical principles.
Firstly, let's remember the words of 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what communion does light have with darkness?" As they spend time together, it's crucial that they both share a strong faith in Jesus Christ, as this will be the foundation of their relationship.
We also want to address the context of their bonding. While bonfires and talking can be innocent settings, it's important to maintain purity and honor God in all aspects of their relationship. Ephesians 5:3 (WEB) tells us, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints." We encourage them to keep their interactions pure and focused on building a godly connection.
Let us pray for MB and AR:
"Heavenly Father, we lift up MB and AR to you. We pray that their bonding time will be guided by Your Holy Spirit, keeping them pure and focused on Your will. We pray that their conversations will be centered on You, and that they will encourage each other in their walks with You. Lord, if it is Your will, we pray that this relationship will grow into a godly marriage union, where they can serve You together as one. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."
If MB and AR are not focusing on Jesus Christ as the center of their relationship, we encourage them to do so. As Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We urge them to draw near to God, and He will draw near to them (James 4:8).
Lastly, we want to remind them of the importance of seeking God's will in their relationship. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We encourage them to trust in God and His plan for their lives and their relationship.
