Let's bring your request to God together, seeking His will for your mom. It's important to remember that true love and transformation come from God, and it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to Him. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Firstly, let's pray for your mom's salvation and her relationship with God, as true love and acceptance come from understanding God's love for us. As we read in 1 John 4:19 WEB, "We love Him, because He first loved us."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up the mother of Anonymous. First and foremost we pray for her salvation. We pray she comes to truly know You and the love You have for her. We pray that You fill her heart with Your love, and that You help her to see herself through Your eyes. Help her to understand and accept the truth that she is "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14 WEB).
We pray that You help her to love herself in a healthy and biblical way, not in a manner that is self-seeking or proud, but in a way that recognizes her worth in You. We pray that You give her the strength to put off falsehood and speak truthfully to herself and others (Ephesians 4:25 WEB). Help her, Father, to have a right understanding of her identity and worth in You.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be causing her to feel self-loathe or doubt her worth. We pray that You reveal any areas in her life that may not be aligned with Your will, and we ask that You give her the strength and wisdom to make changes as needed.
We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Remember, Anonymous, that God's love for us is the foundation of our love for ourselves and others. Encourage your mom to spend time in God's Word, seeking Him and His will for her life. If she's struggling with her identity or worth, remind her that she is a child of God, created in His image, and loved by Him.
If your mom is not a believer, share the good news of Jesus Christ with her. Explain her need for a savior and God made a way for her to be saved through Jesus Christ. This will help her to have a right understanding of God's love for her and her worth in Him.
