May lose my home in foreclosure. I have a court date to determine decision.

I wrote a prayer request for the foreclosure on my home and lost the page the prayer was typed on so now I'm writing a new prayer request hoping not to lose this one. I scheduled for Zoom court tomorrow to fight to keep my home that was my mother who passed all of a sudden in June 2022 from a stroke right after she came for a doctor's visit. She went into a coma and passed 3 months later taken off life support. My daughters and I were offered to live with her since I divorced my husband until we move on our own. I was diagnosed with MS and it's been an uphill battle while receiving treatments for this disease that's why husband left me, he couldn't deal with my body condition. But right now today I want to keep my mother's home. I'm looking for work again and submitted an application/resume in healthcare as Patient Service Representative, my calling back in healthcare. I recently worked in retail as a cashier but I had to quit because the cashier job was too far, riding public transportation that wasn't always reliable. Pray that the Judge will give an extension on my foreclosure case to give me more time getting a job. I owe $### on my mortgage and now it's public knowledge so many people are calling for my house. I also have a home modifier that's working with me to try and get my mother's name off the house to put it into my name on the title. This is serious. I don't know what will happen since the mortgage company has an attorney that will influence the judge and I lose the home and I have no other place to go and I will lose everything and become homeless living in a shelter that is horrible here in Chicago. I have no other family; they all live in the south in Tennessee. My 3 daughters are all I have. If I don't act fast, we all will be homeless. Thank you for now and sudden prayers, I will also believe until it happens. I've applied; it's the job recruiters' turn, I fit the description and believe my resume will stand out over all the other candidates because this is what the employers are looking for. Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in need. Lord, she is facing a tremendous battle, the possibility of losing her home, and with it, the security and stability for her and her daughters. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in this situation, that You would guide the heart of the judge, and that You would provide a way for her to keep her home.

Lord, we also pray for her job search. We ask that You would open the right doors, that You would guide her steps, and that You would provide a job that not only meets her financial needs but also aligns with Your will for her life.

Father, we also pray for her health. We ask that You would heal her, that You would strengthen her, and that You would guide her through her treatments.

Lord, we also pray for her daughters. We ask that You would protect them, that You would guide them, and that You would provide for all their needs.

Father, we ask all these things in the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray, believing that You will hear and answer our prayers. Amen.

Regarding divorce, remember what Jesus said about divorce in Matthew 5:32. "But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason, except for sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery."

We also want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'".

Finally, we need to mention that we should be continually in an attitude of prayer, supplication and thanksgiving to God our Father in Jesus name:

"Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."

We continue to lift you up in prayer, especially as you face the possibility of foreclosure on your home. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in this time of need.

As you prepare for your Zoom court date, we pray for the judge to have wisdom and compassion, and for an extension to be granted. We ask God to guide the decisions made by the court and the mortgage company, and to bless the efforts of the home modifier working on your behalf.
