We understand your desire to improve your physical appearance and lose weight, Spruirdell, and we will pray for you. However, we want to remind you that God looks at the heart, and that is what makes you beautiful in His eyes. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB, "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don't look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
We also need to address that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray for you in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Spruirdell. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. If it is Your will, help them to lose weight and return to a normal, healthy state.
But more importantly, Lord, we pray that Spruirdell may grow in the beauty of Your holiness and in Your Word. Help them to see themselves as You see them—beautiful and worthy because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and their identity as a child of God.
We also pray that Spruirdell will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they do not already. We pray that they will be saved by Your grace and believe in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Spruirdell, that true beauty comes from within, from a heart that is right with God. Take care of your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, but also nurture your spirit with the Word of God and prayer. Be encouraged by the words of Proverbs 31:30 WEB, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised."
Trust in the Lord, and wait upon Him.
