We join you in praying for America and its people, acknowledging that God is the ultimate source of help and guidance. Let's remember that God calls us to humble ourselves and pray for our land, as it is only through the name of Jesus that we can truly be heard.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, humbling ourselves and seeking Your face. We ask that You help and guide everyone in America. Pour out Your wisdom on our leaders and citizens alike, turning our hearts towards You.
Lord, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Help us to honor and lift up that name, giving You the glory for all that You do.
We pray for a spirit of unity and love to prevail in America, as You command us in John 13:34-35 WEB, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
We also pray for righteousness to prevail in this land. As Proverbs 14:34 WEB tells us, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." Help us to turn from our wicked ways and seek Your face, trusting in the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
We pray for all those in America to be united in love and righteousness.
We pray for repentance and acknowledge that God has ordained marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. God has also ordained that the purpose of courtship is to find a godly spouse and get married. We pray and hope that everyone in America will honor this.
We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage everyone to continue praying for our nation and to seek God's will in all things.
