We are grateful for your heartfelt request for those who are hurting. It's important to remember that God is always with us in our suffering, and He desires to heal and comfort us. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
However, we want to gently remind you that the power to heal and save comes through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His stripes that we are healed, as prophesied in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed."
Let us pray together in Jesus' name:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up to You all those who are hurting. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and You have the power to heal all wounds, both physical and emotional. We ask that Your healing touch would rest upon each person who is in pain, and that You would comfort them in their time of need.
We pray that those who do not know Jesus as their personal Savior would come to a saving knowledge of Him, for it is only through His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, comfort, and salvation for all those who are hurting. Amen.
If you or anyone you know is hurting, we encourage you to cry out to God in the name of Jesus, for He cares for you and wants to heal your pain. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
If the prayer request is made without specifying Jesus, we will always be sure to mention this.
