"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up this person in need of healing. Lord, you know the depths of his pain and the desires of his heart. We ask that you touch his body and bring about the healing that only you can provide. Guide the doctors and let the medicine work effectively to restore his health.
But Lord, we also pray for his heart. We ask that you fill him with your joy and peace. Help him to find his happiness in you, for you are the great physician who heals both body and soul. Comfort him in his time of need and let him feel your loving presence.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
