We join you in praying for the students across America, that God may bless them with meaningful friendships so that none may feel alone. It's important to remember that God places a high value on community and friendships. As it was noted in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."
However, we want to emphasize that while friendships are important, the most crucial relationship is our personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. Jesus said: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. IJN, John 14:6
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up all the students in America to you. We pray that you would bless them with godly friends who will encourage and support them. We ask that you would help them to build meaningful relationships that honor you, Lord.
We also pray that each student would come to know Jesus Christ personally. May they find in Him the ultimate friend and companion, who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
For those who may be feeling alone or struggling, remember that God is always with you. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8.
Lastly, we encourage all students to be a friend to others, to reach out to those who may be feeling alone, and to share the love of Christ with them. As the body of Christ, we are called to love and support one another. Romans 12:10, "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."
