May A Counter-Offer I Made Be Accepted (FAVOR), or May A Find A Company That Will Pay for Training, Base Salary, Commission & Spiffs...

No word yet on counter-offer... It's been the weekend. Please pray for my confidence in The Job I've Been Praying for Since July... Thanks in Jesus' Name

I am asking for negotiating favor, Ps 5:12. Have a company very interested in hiring me (3 Interviews), in fact sent me offer, but straight commission... I counter-offered asking for a small base salary of $10-12 per hour plus half the money they would pay an appointment setter if I set my own appointments (instead of the setter). I don't think it's too big of an ask but I haven't heard back from them. It was their Friday night so very good chance of praying for God to work on Jake and Rose over the weekend make this a reality. There are a lot of things we do that are work done for the company but not (commissionable) selling -- (Meetings, Emails, Requests for Proposals, Calling Leads, Converting Leads into Opportunities, TRAINING, doing all this on a computer, etc. I ask for favor with this position OR another company that will give me what I am requesting. I don't need PTO, Insurance or 401K (but will take them if offered). Just paid training, a small hourly and some spiff for setting my own appointments (that will actually save them money). Thank you in Jesus' Name.

Let us join together in prayer and consideration for Nochaeld, seeking God's will and wisdom for their employment situation.

Firstly, we commend Nochaeld for including Jesus' name in their request, as it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!

Nochaeld has been praying for a job since July and has a company interested in hiring them. They have gone through three interviews and received an offer, but it is a straight commission position. Nochaeld has counter-offered, asking for a small base salary and additional compensation for setting their own appointments. We pray that God will grant Nochaeld favor in this negotiation, as He did for Joseph and Daniel in the Bible.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Nochaeld and their employment situation. We ask that You grant them favor in the eyes of Jake and Rose, just as You granted Joseph favor in the sight of Potiphar and Daniel favor in the sight of the commander of the officials. Guide Nochaeld through this negotiation process, and help them to trust in Your timing and provision.

Lord, we know that You are a good Father who gives good gifts to Your children. We ask that You provide Nochaeld with a position that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents to serve You and others. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You have a plan and a purpose for their life, and that this job is a part of that plan.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Nochaeld has shown diligence and initiative in pursuing this position and negotiating the terms. We encourage them to continue trusting in God's provision and timing, knowing that He has a plan for their life. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

We also remind Nochaeld that God's favor is not only for financial gain but also for spiritual growth and ministry opportunities. As they seek God's will for their employment, we pray that they will also seek His face and His righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

Lastly, we encourage Nochaeld to meditate on God's Word and His promises, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has started in them (Philippians 1:6 WEB). We pray that they will find peace and joy in His presence, regardless of the outcome of this negotiation.

We will continue to pray for Nochaeld and their employment situation, trusting that God will guide them and provide for their needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
