Let us come together in prayer for Max and his surgery this morning.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let us ensure that we approach God through Jesus Christ, His son.
Now unto the request, it is important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our health and the outcome of surgeries. We must pray for Max, asking for God's will in his life and his upcoming surgery. Let us pray for God's healing, mercy, and grace.
Yahweh, we come before You today, lifting up Max as he prepares for surgery. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, particularly his heart. Guide the surgeons' hands, and let Your peace fill the operating room. Help Max to do well in his surgery and let his heart be fine.
We also pray for Max's faith and trust in You. Help him to know that You are always with him, even in difficult times. Let him know and understand that it is faith in Jesus Christ that will see him through. Give him the strength to endure, and the courage to face whatever comes his way. Help him to know that You are working all things together for his good, because he loves You and he is called according to Your purpose.
In addition, if Max is not firmly grounded in You, we pray that You will reveal Yourself to him in a mighty way. Let him know that You are the Great Physician, the One who can heal both body and soul. We ask that You will draw Max closer to You and that he will come out of this surgery with a stronger faith and a deeper relationship with You, the only true God.
We also pray for Max's family and loved ones during this time. Give them strength, peace, and comfort as they wait and trust in You. Help them to support Max and encourage them all to trust in You and Your plan for Max's life.
Lastly, let us remember the words of James 5:15 WEB "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.". Let us believe in faith that Max will be well and trust in God for his healing.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
