Isaac, we understand that you are seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness as your first priority, as encouraged in Matthew 6:33. This is a wonderful commitment, and we are here to support you in this journey. Let us remind you of the context of this verse:
But seek first Gods kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you.
Jesus assures us that when we prioritize God's kingdom and His righteousness, He will provide for our needs. This is a promise that we can claim in faith. However, it is crucial to remember that this seeking must be done in the context of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through faith and believing in Jesus that we have the ability to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We have the following:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Therefore, if you have not yet committed your life to Jesus Christ, we encourage you to take this step. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him into your life. This is the foundation upon which you can build a life of seeking God's kingdom and righteousness.
As you continue in this journey, remember that seeking God's kingdom also involves obeying His commands and living a life that honors Him. This includes maintaining purity in all your relationships, fleeing from sexual immorality, and pursuing righteousness. As it says:
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Therefore, if you are in a relationship, ensure that it is aligned with biblical principles and that you are treating each other with purity and respect.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Isaac Samuel Lubwama. We thank You for his desire to seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness. We pray that he would know You personally, having a deep and abiding relationship with You through Jesus Christ. Guide him in Your truth, and help him to live a life that honors You. Provide him the strength to maintain and keep himself from sexual immorality and keep him pure.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
