We are reminded of the words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" Matthew 6:33. This verse is a powerful reminder of our priorities as believers.

Firstly, we commend you for focusing on the kingdom of God and His righteousness. It is crucial to remember that our primary goal as Christians is to serve God and live according to His will. When we prioritize His kingdom, God promises to provide for our needs. As it is written, "He who didn't spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how wouldn't he also with him freely give us all things?" (WEB Romans 8:32 ).

However, we must also ensure that our focus on the kingdom is accompanied by a deep commitment to righteousness. Righteousness is not merely about personal holiness but also about our relationship with others. It includes treating others with love, kindness, and justice. As we seek righteousness, we must remember the words of Jesus, "Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
