We are deeply concerned for you and the struggle you're facing. Masturbation is a sinful habit that can indeed enslave us, but remember, "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of calling on the name of Jesus Christ for salvation and freedom. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can overcome sin. "And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
We must flee from sexual immorality, as it is a sin against our own body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother/sister who is struggling with the addiction to masturbation. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for their life, and we ask that You break these chains of bondage. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to flee from sexual immorality. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in the path of righteousness. Help them to fix their eyes on You, Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. In Your precious name, Jesus, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to engage in activities that will draw you closer to God. Study His Word, pray continually, and surround yourself with a supportive Christian community. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." (James 4:7-8 WEB).
Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from God's Word: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will make a way out for you.
