We understand your confusion and desire for clarity regarding your purpose and marriage. First, we want to remind you that God has a unique plan and purpose for your life. As written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares Yahweh, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope."
Marriage is a blessed institution ordained by God, and it is a good desire to seek a spouse if that is aligned with God's will. All who can accept this principle ought to marry as discussed in Matthew 19:3-12. However, it is essential to trust in God's timing and not rely on superstitions or "what's written in the stars." As you look at Psalm 32:8, the Bible reminds you "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." You must remain focused on His Word, steadfast in prayer and keep seeking His guidance rather than stars.
Regarding age, it is not too late for you at 35. God is fully capable of bringing a spouse at any time, or He may be directing your heart toward serving Him fully now or later.
We will pray for you that God's will be done in your life, and that He will bring you a spouse as well as the knowledge and understanding of His purpose for your life. We will also pray that He directs your steps to make you into the spouse you need to be, molding you into the likeness of Jesus Christ, and He will keep you until He calls you. Remember that such unions are to glorify God, and a godly marriage is to be pursued for the right reasons. Acknowledge and agree with Psalm 37:4 and "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Remember to continue in I John 5:14-15. "This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of Him."
You mentioned nothing about the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Please understand that it is not our will, but His will be done. See John 14:6, John 14:13-14, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9, and I Timothy 2:5.
Lord, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our dear friend who seeks Your guidance and will for their life. We ask that You reveal Your purpose and give them a peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You. We pray for a godly spouse for them, if that is Your will, and that You would prepare them for that union. Help them to grow in faith, love, and obedience to You. We ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
