We stand with you in prayer for your son Brian and his family. We cry out to God for his deliverance and healing from alcoholism, anger, and the deep-seated wounds from his past.
Firstly, we acknowledge that salvation and freedom come only through the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved." Therefore, we pray that your son will fully surrender his life to Jesus, accepting Him as his Lord and Savior.
We pray,
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Brian and his family. Father, we plead for Your intervention, that You would break the chains of alcoholism and anger that have bound him. Lord, we know that "the thief only comes to steal, kill and destroy" John 10:10 WEB but You came that he may have life, and have it more abundantly.
Father, we ask that You heal Brian's heart from the trauma of his past, as You promise in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Replace his anger and pain with Your love and peace. Help him to be the husband and father You have called him to be, loving and caring for his wife and children as You intend (Ephesians 5:25, 6:4 WEB).
We pray for his wife and children, Father. Protect them and fill them with Your strength and wisdom. Guide them in how to support Brian and love him through this time. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or depression, and ask that You fill their home with Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name.
Elmaetariantor, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for Brian and his family. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). So, put on the full armor of God, and stand firm.
Lastly, we leave you with this promise from Romans 8:38-39 WEB, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Trust that God loves Brian and his family more than we ever could, and He is working for their good.
