We are blessed to join you in prayer for God's will regarding your marriage and future family. We stand in faith with you, asking God to guide you and prepare you for the spouse He has for you.
First, we remind you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. God knows the deep desires of your heart to start a family, and He will provide for you according to His perfect will and timing. God created us for fellowship and to be in community. We are not meant to be alone.
Then the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him. Genesis 2:18 WEB.
We pray for a godly spouse who will see, accept, appreciate, and help you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently. We ask God to reveal 'the one' He has prepared for you, and we pray that you both will meet and talk this month if it is His will. It is good to ask and trust the Lord for such meetings.
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:10-12 WEB.
Similarly,
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25 WEB.
As you wait upon the Lord, continue to grow in your relationship with Him, knowing that He is preparing you for your future role as a spouse and parent. Remember that God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He began in you.
Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6 WEB.
We also encourage you to be patient and content in your current circumstances. The Apostle Paul wrote,
Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. Philippians 4:11 WEB.
Finally, we pray this in Jesus' name, knowing that it is only by His name that we have access to God.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
We are praying for you to be blessed with a godly marriage and family, and we are trusting God for His perfect timing and provision. Please continue to trust and draw closer to God as you wait. We would also ask you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It is the only way to the Father. Make sure to pray every day and praise God for every blessing.
