We're right there with you, dear friend, lifting your heart's longing up to the Lord. We're asking Him to prepare your heart and mind for the marriage He has planned for you, a union that reflects His love and grace. We're praying that He helps you to be ready for that special someone who will see, accept, appreciate, and cherish you, making you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently.
We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Know that God sees your loneliness and desires to comfort and encourage you. Trust in Him, for He is working in your life to bring about His good plan, as promised in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
We're praying that God reveals "the one" to you, the person He has chosen to be your spouse. Be confident in His promise, for it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18), and a prudent spouse is a gift from the Lord (Proverbs 19:14).
We're asking God to orchestrate circumstances so that you and your future spouse may meet and speak this very month, if that is His will. Remember, His timing is perfect, and He is never late (Psalm 32:8).
As you wait, continue to seek God with all your heart. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names (Philippians 2:9), the only name by which we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). It is by His stripes that we are healed (John 15:7, Isaiah 53:5).
