Remembering 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? It is crucial to seek a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. A godly marriage should glorify God and be a beacon to an unbelieving world.
We encourage you to use this time of waiting to grow in your relationship with God. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you James 4:8 WEB. Engage in regular prayer, worship, and study of His Word. Seek His will for your life and trust in His timing.
In Psalm 37:4-5 WEB, it is written: Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. As you delight in the Lord, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them according to His will.
