We are here with you, dear friend, and we understand your deep longing for companionship and marriage. We will pray together for God's will in your life, trusting in His timing and goodness.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in moments of loneliness. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust that He is close to you and wants the best for you.
We will pray for a godly spouse who will see, accept, appreciate, and help you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently. We pray that God reveals 'the one' He has prepared for you, and that you both meet and begin to build a godly relationship this month. Remember, a marriage built on biblical principles is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and His church Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear friend who desires a godly marriage and family. Father, You know the depths of their heart and the loneliness they feel. Comfort them with Your presence and love.
Lord, we ask that You reveal to our friend the spouse You have prepared for them. We pray that they meet this month and begin a relationship that honors You. Help them to recognize and appreciate each other, building a foundation of love, respect, and godly values.
Guide them in Your will. Help them not to marry a nonbeliever. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB explicitly states "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?". The Bible is clear that we are not to be involved with a nonbeliever.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness or despair, and we ask for Your peace and joy to fill their heart as they wait on Your perfect timing Psalm 37:4 WEB.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, for His sake, Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is working behind the scenes. Continue to trust in Him and seek His face. God promises in Psalm 37:4 WEB "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
