We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage, and we are here to pray and counsel with you. Firstly, we must remind you that God's desire is for you and your husband to have a loving and respectful marriage, as described in Ephesians 5:33, "Nevertheless, let each one of you in particular love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
However, we must address that the issue of another woman, ###, is a serious matter. It is clear that your husband is currently in a form of temptation or sin, and we must pray for his deliverance and repentance. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:28, "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." This reminds us that temptation begins in the heart and mind, and it is crucial to guard against it.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this marriage. Lord, we pray that You would remove ### from their path and break any ungodly soul ties that may have formed. We rebuke the spirit of adultery and temptation, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would draw their hearts towards each other once again, that they may fall in love anew and be united in Your love.
We pray for ###, that You would give her the strength and grace to forgive, to trust, and to respect her husband once again. We also pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart, lead him to repentance, and fill him with a renewed love for his wife. Help them to show each other love and respect, and to reconcile their marriage according to Your will.
Father, we know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can ask these things, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We believe that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Lord, we ask that You would heal their marriage and make it a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to pray for your husband and your marriage, and to trust in God's faithfulness. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:6, "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." God can restore and reconcile your marriage, and He desires to do so.
Lastly, we urge you to examine your own heart and life, to ensure that you are walking in obedience to God's word. The Bible teaches us in 1 Peter 3:1-2, "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in reverence." As you submit to God and live in obedience to Him, He will work in your marriage.
Stand strong in your faith and trust in God. We are here to support and pray for you.
