We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage, ###, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray with you. We believe that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:25-32 WEB).
Let's remember God's promise in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.'"
We encourage you to continue to be a loving and godly husband, as God commands in Ephesians 5:25 (WEB), "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." Also, pray for your wife, as God may be working in her heart. Remember, it is only in Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus to lift up our brother ### and his marriage. Lord, we ask that You would work in the heart of his wife and bring about reconciliation. We pray that You would soften her heart and draw her to Yourself, that she may be open to the possibility of restoring their marriage.
Help ### to be the godly husband that You have called him to be, and give him the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time. We ask that You would surround their marriage with Your heavenly protection and grant them the miracle of reconciliation if it is Your will.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, ###. Trust in the Lord, and He will guide you through this challenging time. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep loving God and seeking His purpose for your life and marriage.
