Drunnance, we understand that you and your friend have feelings for each other and have been planning to get married. However, we need to clarify a few things based on biblical principles.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you both have a long-standing friendship, but we need to address that the Bible encourages relationships that are headed towards marriage, and these relationships should be between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ. If there are any sins in this relationship, such as sexual immorality or anything else that does not align with biblical principles, we strongly encourage you to repent and turn away from them. 1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
