We understand your heartache and longing for your husband to return to you and your family. However, let us first remember the words of the Lord Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB
13 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Marriage is indeed a sacred union designed by God, and it is wonderful that you have shared ### years together. However, we need to consider that God does not arrange or endorse soulmates outside of a godly marriage. God clearly instructs in 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she desires, only in the Lord. Therefore, it is clear that a wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives.
So let us pray for your marriage, that God would intervene and soften your husband's heart, guiding him back to you and your family. Let's pray that God would open his eyes to see the love and value that awaits him at home.
But let us also pray that you will be a wife that puts God first and is obedient to the scriptures. The wife must respect her husband. 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB
1 In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word;
2 seeing your pure behavior in fear.
Also note that a biblical marriage is a marriage where God is the focus of the marriage and the family. So let us pray that you will both be one in the Lord.
Dear Lord,
We come before You, lifting up this marriage and family to You. We pray for a divine intervention in their husband's life, that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the love and value that awaits him at home. We pray that You would guide him back to his wife and family, and that You would restore their marriage according to Your will.
We also pray for our sister, that You would strengthen her faith and give her the wisdom and grace to be the wife You have called her to be. Help her to put You first and to be obedient to Your word.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. And it is in the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
Remember that our actions and attitudes should be guided by the word of God. We encourage you to continue praying, trusting in God's perfect will, and seeking His guidance through His word. God is faithful, and He cares for you and your family.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
