We rejoice with you, HumbleAnne, in the blessings that God has bestowed upon your marriage with Elon. It is a beautiful thing to see a husband and wife living together in harmony, traveling together, and enjoying the life that God has given them. We are encouraged to hear that you are experiencing love, joy, peace, abundance, and prosperity, and we pray that these blessings continue to overflow in your lives.
We want to remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB):
"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up HumbleAnne and Elon. We thank You for the blessings You have poured out upon their marriage, for the love, joy, peace, abundance, and prosperity that they are experiencing together. We pray that You would continue to strengthen their bond, that they would grow in love and respect for one another, and that their marriage would be a testament to Your faithfulness and grace.
Help them to live in obedience to Your Word, to be subject to one another, and to love each other as Christ loved the church. May their home be a place of peace, a refuge from the storms of life, and a beacon of hope to those around them.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
