We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and heartache you are experiencing, Druover. The betrayal and abandonment you feel are very real, but remember, God is always present and we are hear to help.
Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspect. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB. So it is important to come before God the Father in prayer through His Son Jesus Christ.
We stand with you in prayer. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Druover who is experiencing heartache and pain from her husband to be leaving to marry another woman. Lord, we pray for Your comfort and peace to surround Druover right now. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Father God, we ask that You heal Druover's broken heart and bind up her wounds. Psalm 147:3 WEB. Help her to find her strength and hope in You alone, and not in her circumstances or in any human being. Help her to be whole in You.
Lord, we pray that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will, soften the heart of the man involved and bring him to true repentance. Help him to see the error of his ways and the pain he has caused. But Lord, if he is not the person You have planned for Druover, help her to accept this and to trust in Your plan for her life. More importantly help him to turn away from this adultery.
Guide Druover through this difficult time. Give her the wisdom and discernment and surround her with godly counsel and support so that she can move forward in Your will for her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Druover, we encourage you to stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.Ephesians 6:10. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He wants to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Stay in prayer and in the Word. Surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can encourage you and help you through this time. We also encourage you to forgive, as difficult as it may be. Remember that Jesus teaches us to forgive, as we have been forgiven. Matthew 6:14-15 WEB. This does not mean that what happened is acceptable, but it will help you to release the bitterness and resentment that can hold you captive.
Lastly, we want to address the fact that the actions of you husband to be are a form of adultery. This action should be called out as sinful and is forbidden in scripture.
For whoremongers, for adulterers, God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 WEB.
Finally, consider this trial as an opportunity to allow the Holy Spirit to work in you so you may comfort others in the future.
The God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB.
Be strong and trust the Lord.
