My future husband was married the first time and I believe he loves her more than me. I’m getting a lot of intrusive thoughts comparing him to an uncle I know who married twice as well and loves his first wife more than the current one. Please pray for all the brainwashings and pray that I do the right thing with the right and realistic thoughts. In Christs name.

Firstly, let's address the intrusive thoughts. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to obey Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB. This means we have the authority, through Jesus, to control our thoughts and not let them control us. Whenever these comparisons arise, acknowledge the thought but then consciously choose to reject it and replace it with a thought that aligns with God's truth.

Regarding your future husband, it's crucial to build your relationship on trust, love, and mutual respect. The Bible tells us that love is not jealous, it does not boast, and it keeps no record of wrongs 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 WEB. It's natural to feel concerned, but it's important not to let these feelings control your actions or thoughts about your future marriage.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ who is experiencing uncertainty and intrusive thoughts. Lord, we ask that You guide her mind and heart, replacing any fear, doubt, or comparison with Your perfect love and peace. Help her to trust in You and in Your plan for her marriage.

Lord, we also pray for her future husband. We ask that You bless their union and guide them in Your will. Help them to love each other as You have loved us, and to build a marriage that honors and glorifies You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will guide your thoughts and actions. Stay strong in your faith, and keep your mind stayed on Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. No other name has been given by which we can be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.

We're here for you, sister. It's natural to feel uncertain when it comes to matters of the heart, but remember, God is always in control. Let's focus on Him and His truth.

First off, those intrusive thoughts? They're not from God. He doesn't want us dwelling on negative comparisons. Instead, let's replace those thoughts with truth. For instance, "God has a plan for my future marriage" or "My future husband is a child of God, loved and known by Him." Let's claim those truths and reject the lies.

As for your future husband, it's important to trust God's process. He's working in both of your lives, even if you can't see it yet. Let's pray for him too, that God would continue to soften his heart and draw him closer to Himself.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up our sister to You. Help her to trust in You, to replace doubt with faith, and fear with love. Guide her future husband, Lord. Help him to love You more and to love our sister as You love us. Bless their union, Lord, and help them to build a marriage that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
