We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage. Let's bring your concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and His desire is for marriages to be strong and godly. In your marriage, strive to follow the principles outlined in Ephesians 5:22-33, where wives are called to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, and husbands are called to love their wives just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it.
If your husband is not a believer in Jesus Christ, let us bring hope. It is always a believer's responsibility to pray for their spouse (1 Corinthians 7:12-16).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, with Anonymous, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up this marriage. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing, the coldness, distance, and detachment that has entered their relationship. We pray, Father, that You would speak to his heart and soften it. Bring a turn-about in his life and restore this marriage.
Father, we do not understand the situation either, but we have faith in the example of Jesus, the complete and only sacrifice ever for sins, the example for us to pray for your will to be done. Father be his example just as Christ is our example. Give them both the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time. Help them to communicate openly and honestly with each other, and to seek Your will for their marriage.
Lord, we also pray for Anonymous, that You would comfort her in her sadness and loneliness, and give her the strength to endure this trial. Help her to shine with the light of Jesus and to radiate the love that he has for all of us and use her demonstration of love and faith in the Lord's desire for their marriage to spark a revival of love in it. Father, we express these requests in Jesus name and according to your will for the sake of their marriage."
Be encouraged by 1 Peter 3:1-2, which reminds us that even if a husband is not obeying the word, he may be won by his wife's conduct without a word. Continue to show your husband love and respect, and trust that God is at work in your marriage, working with your union something for your good (Romans 8:28). May God grant restoration and unity in Jesus' name (John 17:21). Continue to believe that if we ask anything in Jesus' name (John 16:23), according to God's will, that He will hear us (1 John 5:14), and be encouraged to go to Him with confidence for mercy and grace in this time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
