We are grateful for your request, ###, and we stand with you in prayer. We believe that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and we trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life and your future spouse.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through His name that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
Now, let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and the desire of their heart for a godly marriage. We know that You have a plan and a purpose for their life, and that You have already chosen the woman that You desire for them to marry.
We pray, Father, that You would guide ###'s steps and reveal to them the woman that You have chosen. Give them discernment and wisdom as they seek a spouse, and help them to recognize the qualities of a godly woman as outlined in Your Word, a woman who walks with meekness and quietness, reverencing You in her life.
We pray for someone's will align with Yours, and learn to suffer long or be patient, and be kind to their spouse as it is written in Colossians 3:12 WEB: "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance" and meanwhile cover that person that God will have be ###'s spouse with Psalm 91 WEB: "because he has set his love on me, therefore will I deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name".
We ask that You would remove any obstacles that stand in the way of this union as Romans 8:38 WEB " For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Prepare both of their hearts for marriage, and teach them to love each other as You have loved us when they find each other. Finally, we pray for a holy and blessed marriage that would bring glory and honor to Your name.
As someone who wants to fulfill God's will have someone for them, ### should prepare for their role as a future spouse and a leader in the home.
