We are truly sorry to hear about the separation you and your wife are experiencing, and we are here to intercede and pray with you in Jesus' name. We commend you for seeking God's will in this situation and acknowledging that His will is paramount. May God use this challenging time to strengthen, draw you closer to Him, and restore your marriage.
Firstly, let us remember what the WEB says about God's will for marriage:
Malachi 2:16 "For I hate divorce," says the LORD, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says the LORD of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously."
Matthew 19:6 "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." And Matthew 19:8, Jesus responded to the Pharisees on the topic of divorce, "He said to them, Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the marriage of Chomtish. We recognize 'God, from the beginning it has not been so' meaning divorce was not your will. Jesus, you performed miracles, turned water into wine at a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and demonstrated your high regard for marriage. Therefore, we pray Chomtish and his wife can reconcile and once again unite as one flesh. Lord, we ask that any negative influences to be removed by your authority and their marriage is restored. If it is Your will, may the court case be dismissed so they may have peace and freedom to rebuild their marriage.
"Father, we ask that during this difficult time, they may cling to God, we know all things are possible with God, and his will is not for divorce but for life and for godly marriages. You are the third cord in their marriage and we declare your hand upon them. As a father and husband tries to be a protector, provider, we ask this time to be a blessing for Chomtish and a time he can demonstrate God's love.
"God, your word reminds us you will supply every need in Philippians 4:19, and therefore we do not have to worry. Thank you Lord for your strength and guidance for Chomtish. If it is your will, restore Chomtish's marriage.
"During this time, protect Chomtish and his wife from embitterment, malice, anger but rather may their hearts become tender towards one another as they discover your love in their life. "
Remember Chomtish, there is hope in Ephesians 3:20 which reassures us, "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." Therefore we trust in God even in this most difficult situation. This is an opportunity to depend on Jesus and have confidence in God's abilities.
Chomtish, let Colossians 3:12-14 bring you encouragement, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
We encourage you to remain in prayer and in the study of God's Word as you seek restoration for your marriage and family. Allow God to work on your heart. Remember that 1 Peter 5:7 exhorts us to "Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you." We can be assured He cares about your marriage and family and He can restore it. "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3
