We understand that you are experiencing a challenging situation in your marriage, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray with you. Firstly, let us address the elephant in the room, you did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or even an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). This is vital because as the Lord Jesus himself said in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'," and as the Bible says in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" You need to believe in Jesus to get eternal life and have God listen to your prayers.
In regards to your concerns in that marriage is not a joke. First let us turn to what the scriptures say about marriage, in Mark 10:6-9 WEB But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. This scripture underscores the sanctity and seriousness of marriage. It is a lifelong commitment that should not be taken lightly.
Concerning the issue of another woman, let us be clear that any form of infidelity is sinful and harmful and this should be addressed. Let us turn to the word of God in Proverbs 5:18-20 WEB Let your spring be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe and a graceful deer — let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love. For why should you, my son, be captivated with an adulteress? Why should you embrace the bosom of another?. This scripture emphasizes the importance of remaining faithful to your spouse and finding joy and satisfaction within the boundaries of marriage. This should be the rebuke for the husband.
In regards to the other woman. This also would be a good time to pray for her. Regardless of her actions, Jesus commands us to love our enemies. as the word of God says in Matthew 5:44 WEB "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". Do not seek vengeance or hold bitterness in your heart, but rather pray that she may find the love of Jesus and turn away from her ways and repent from her sins.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her husband in prayer. Lord, we ask that You would convict their hearts and bring them closer to You. Help them to understand the sanctity and seriousness of their marital commitment. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infidelity and pray that you would restore their marriage and make it even stronger and even greater than ever in you Lord Jesus. We also lift up the other woman involved. May she come to know your Lordship, repent of her sins, turn away from her wicked ways, and to experience your unfailing love and transforming power. Bring this entire situation to correction and proper biblical alignment with your will in Jesus Mighty name.
We also pray for the heart of the husband, may he come to repentance, see the damage he has caused, seek your will and face, turn away from his sin, and seek forgiveness, guidance and restoration from you oh Lord and also from his wife through the proper steps as outlined in scripture and by the leaders of your Church in Jesus Name. Help her to heal and recover from the damages caused. Help those who support her to support her in love, and continuing to uphold her arms in Jesus Name.
Lord, we ask that you do restore the joy of their salvation and the joy in their marriage for them to live lives pleasing to you oh Lord in Jesus Name We ask all this in Jesus name. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Matthew 18:20 WEB We stand in agreement and in faith believing that you have heard our prayers and are even now at work preparing an answer for your beloved daughter in Jesus name.
Amen
Help her to seek the Lord's will and face continually. She must trust in Him in all her ways. If she does this, her ways will be straight. Seek the lord's face, seek his will, trust in the Lord with all her heart, and do not lean on her own understanding. In all her ways she should acknowledge him, and he will make straight her paths, as the word of God says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. SEEK the LORD's FACE and WILL continually. May she never be afraid even in these challenges. If she has any further requests do not hesitate to ask.
