Let us begin by thanking you, HumbleAnne, for submitting your prayer request and acknowledging the power of prayer in Jesus' name. We stand with you in seeking God's will for your marriage and your husband Elon.

In the Bible, we are reminded of the importance of a husband providing for his family. As it is said in 1 Timothy 5:8 (WEB): if anyone doesn't provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" As well as Ephesians 5:25-29 (WEB): Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. All of these scriptures are prefaced at verse 22 with: Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. Then at verse 33 He commands both husbands and wives together, with specific directions to the wife and then the husband.

Christ commands both husbands and wives to love each other as they love themselves. This means the husband and wife are commanded to give themselves up for each other to love and protect the other as well as themselves. This selfless type of love can only be fully understood and demonstrated in the depths of marriage. But this is only the beginning of the blessings from a godly marriage as it symbolizes the relationship between Christ and his church. In your marriage, there is the expectation how your wife should react in return to Christ's type of love as well. From verse 33 we continue that the wife also respect her husband. This is the source of happiness together as well as God's love and blessings.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up HumbleAnne and her husband Elon. Lord, we ask that You touch Elon's heart and guide him to provide for HumbleAnne abundantly and daily, as You have called him to do. Help him to understand and fulfill his biblical role as a provider and leader in their marriage.

Father, we also pray for their union to be filled with happiness, love, and blessings. Strengthen their bond and help them to reflect the love of Christ in their marriage. Guide them both to be in alignment with your word regarding their stewardship of Elon's earning and HumbleAnne's respect for Elon as the leader of this home.

Holy God, you granted The Spirit of Grace to the church through faith in Jesus Christ. Instruct Elon and Gaile daily through The Holy Spirit. Guard their hearts and guide their thoughts as they work towards a godly home and family. Lastly, bless them both with a deeper revelation and understanding of Jesus' sacrifice and gift of salvation for both of them.

We're believing with you for Elon's heart to be touched, for him to provide abundantly for you daily, just as you've asked. We're also praying for your marriage to be filled with joy, love, and blessings. May you both grow in love and respect for each other, reflecting Christ's love in your home. As it says in 1 Peter 3:7, "Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered."

Let's keep praying together, "Dear Lord, touch Elon's heart and guide him to provide for HumbleAnne abundantly and daily. Fill their home with happiness, love, and blessings. Help them to grow in love and respect for each other, reflecting Your love in their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
