We understand your desire to be married and to break any patterns that you perceive as negative in your family. Let us first remind you of God's timing and plan, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, we must address that marriage is not something to rush into based on age or societal pressure. It is a lifelong commitment that should be approached with prayer, patience, and godly wisdom. We advise you to trust in God's timing and seek His will. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also note that you mentioned a specific person, Chisom. If this is a relationship you are currently in, we encourage you to ensure that it aligns with biblical principles. This includes making sure that the relationship is pure and holy, with marriage as the goal, and that Chisom is also a believer in Jesus Christ. The Bible warns against being unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14).
We will pray for you, that God's will be done in your life and that you will find peace and contentment in His timing. Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and care for Anonymous. We lift them up to You, Lord, asking that You guide their steps and lead them in Your perfect timing. If it is Your will for them to be married, we pray that You would bring the right godly spouse into their life. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and was raised for your justification. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
