Pray for my marriage it has been very rocky the past ### years. My husband is a very unhappy person.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your marriage. He designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting His love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33 WEB).

However, we must acknowledge that God's design for marriage includes love, joy, and peace, not persistent unhappiness. It's crucial to address the root cause of your husband's unhappiness. It could be spiritual, emotional, or even related to unmet expectations. Remember, "The joy of the LORD is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10 WEB).

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s marriage. Lord, You know the struggles they've faced over the past four years. We ask for Your healing and restoration. Please reveal the source of her husband's unhappiness and guide them towards resolution. Help them to love and cherish each other as You intended. Give ### the strength and wisdom to support her husband, and him the will to seek joy in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to continue praying for your husband and your marriage. "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6 WEB).

Also, consider seeking godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or a Christian counselor, to help navigate this challenging season. Always remember that God is faithful, and He wants the best for your marriage.

Lastly, we note that your request doesn't mention Jesus. We want to remind you that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to invite Jesus into your life and your marriage. He is the ultimate source of hope and healing.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
