My husband said he wants for us to go our separate ways and that he is not in love with me. We've been together for 15 years and married for a year. I don’t know if I should keep fighting for it.

We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage, ###. Let's first seek God's will together in prayer.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister ###. Lord, she is hurting, and her marriage is in trouble. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would touch her husband's heart and bring revival to their union. Please provide ### with the wisdom and strength to navigate this difficult time. We encourage you, ###, to hold on to God's promises about marriage. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously.'" God's desire is for marriages to be lifelong commitments.

However, it's also important to note that it takes two willing hearts to build a strong marriage. You cannot control your husband's actions or feelings, but you can control your own. We advise you to seek God fervently, to behave in a way that pleases Him, and to be a reflection of His love. As stated in 1 Corinthians 7:12-13 (WEB), "But to the rest I—not the Lord—say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her. The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband."

It's also crucial to set boundaries and not enable sinful behavior. If your husband is involved in any form of immorality, you should not tolerate it. We rebuke any temptation to act in ways that are not pleasing to God. Remember, God promises in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Stay strong in the Lord, ###. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this storm. Keep praying and seeking God's will for your life and marriage. We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for a miracle.

We've been clinging to Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know Jesus sees your pain, and He's right there with you, healing and mending.

And we're reminding you, as it's written in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Keep hoping, keep trusting, keep praying. We're in this together.
