Yeli, we understand your desire to get married and the anxiety that you and your family may be feeling. We want to assure you that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, including who you will marry.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord's timing. Psalm 37:7 in the World English Bible (WEB) says, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." God's timing is perfect, and He knows when the right time is for you to meet your future spouse.
We also want to remind you that God desires to give you the best. Psalm 84:11 says, "For the Lord God is a sun and a shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly." Trust that God will provide a suitable life partner who will complement and support you in your faith journey.
However, we want to remind you that the Bible teaches us to seek God's kingdom first, and all other things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). Make sure that your desire for marriage does not overshadow your relationship with God. Continue to grow in your faith, serve in your community, and trust that God will bring the right person into your life at the right time.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Yeli. Lord, we know that You have a perfect plan for her life, including who she will marry. We ask that You will provide her with a suitable life partner, someone who will love and honor You and her. Help Yeli to trust in Your timing and to not be anxious about her future. Give her peace and patience as she waits on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will for your life. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing." Keep your faith strong and trust that God is working in your life, even when you can't see it.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you have not already, make sure to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
