We join with you, Polylanomai, in fervent prayer for your marriage and for Amanda's salvation in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us come together and petition the Lord for His divine intervention.
We are reminded in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God desires that Amanda's heart be softened to the Gospel, and He is patient with her, just as He is with each of us.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Polylanomai and his wife Amanda. We pray, Lord, that You would soften Amanda's heart to the truth of the Gospel. Help her to see the love and mercy that You have for her, and draw her to Yourself. We also pray for the restoration of their marriage, that Amanda would leave her lover and return to Polylanomai, her loving husband. According to Your Word in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, 'But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband... and that the husband not leave his wife.' Restore their union, Lord, and help them to live in a manner that honors and glorifies You. Encourage Polylanomai in this time of trial, and help him to love Amanda as Christ loves the Church. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Polylanomai, we encourage you to continue loving Amanda as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord's timing. Keep pursuing righteousness and godliness, setting an example for Amanda to see the love of Christ through you.
We rebuke the sin of adultery that has entered into this marriage, and we pray that it would be driven out, for Proverbs 6:32 tells us, "But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul." We pray for Amanda's lover to also come to repentance and for the complete restoration of your marriage, Polylanomai.
Keep praying and trusting in the power of Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6), and it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
